3/4 C Sifted Flour (180 ml)
1/4 tsp Baking Powder (2 ml)
1 C Sugar (240 ml)
1/8 tsp salt (pinch)
1/2 C oil (120 ml)
1/2 tsp Vanilla (3 ml)
8 oz Dates - finely cut into
small pieces (240 ml)
1 C Chopped Nuts (240 ml)
2 eggs
Mix and sift flour ingredients.
Make a jell and add in order:
oil
eggs
vanilla
Beat until smooth
Add dates and nuts then mix well
Turn into greased, shallow baking pan
(11” x 7” x 1.5”)
Bake in 350 degree oven 35 to 40 minutes
Cut into bars while warm
Dust with Confectioners Sugar
